Lakeside House has just been completely restored, redecorated and refurnished, to offer luxurious, contemporary guest accommodation for visitors seeking a special bed and breakfast stay in Keswick.

The building has been completely remodelled and now offers fourteen spacious bedrooms, including twin and family rooms, all en-suite, and most bedrooms have spectacular views of the Lake District mountains.

We are superbly located on the corner of Lake Road and The Heads just a few minutes' walk from Derwentwater and The Theatre By The Lake, and very close to the shops, restaurants and pubs of Keswick town centre - location, location, location - we have it!   A great base from which to explore the beautiful Lake District, whether you plan to fellwalk or cycle, or just want to relax in comfort and enjoy the magnificent scenery. 

For breakfast, where possible, we use locally supplied and fair trade produce giving a selection of juices, fruits and yoghurt, cereals or porridge to start, then a choice of:

• smoked salmon with scrambled eggs 
• traditional full-grill - bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, tomato, rustic fried bread and black pudding
• Lakeside House 'lighter option' - a freshly buttered crumpet topped with a poached egg accompanied by griddled asparagus spears wrapped in parma ham

Our accommodation covers 4 floors, with a lovely light and airy breakfast room, a fitness room and drying room facilities for cyclists and walkers.

We use various web based booking systems but it is always best to call or email us directly for up to date information on availability and to make your booking.

We are open throughout the year.  Free parking is available to all our guests by issue of parking permits for the 3 main long-stay car parks (subject to conditions).
